Jarvis Cocker has revealed that his solo material contains some explosive lyrics.

The geeky Pulp singer says that swearing is important to his songs especially on a track that slams world leaders.

The 42-year-old said: “There’s a lot of swearing in the lyrics. One songs is called ‘Cunts Are Still Running The World.’”

He continued to Planet Sound: “I hate it when people say swearing is the sign of a limited vocabulary. If you use a swear word well, it is big and clever.”

Cocker also said that the material is different to Pulp: “It sounds different to Pulp but it’s bound to be similar because my horrible voice is all over it.”
