Aging rocker Pete Townshend believes he could out-rock the likes of The White Stripes on his own.

The legendary Who guitar wielder, says he can still create an almighty din despite his many years.

He told Relix Magazine: “I could probably outdo The White Stripes with a guitar and a fucking drum machine.”

Asked whether The Who will be able to emulate their former glories with their upcoming dates, he added: “Whether I would ever be as much fun, or as gorgeous, is another story.”
