Gwen Stefani’s other half and frontman of the musical travesty that is Bush, Gavin Rossdale, is to release a solo album.
The gravelly voiced singer is hitting the studio in Los Angeles with Lostprophets producer Bob Rock to start work on the project.
Rossdale said on a post on his official website: “I am about to go in and record my first solo record. I am working with producer Bob Rock. We have a great band to do the record and we start next week.
“We’ll do half the record in LA and the other half in Hawaii, where Rock lives on the north shore. So as you can imagine, I’m pretty excited about that.â€
The 41-year-old has also recorded the theme tune to an American TV show called Drive which premiered last night (April 15) on Fox.
