The bands are set to play the summer gig on the 30 June next year. The site will cover two stages to support the four groups. For Queens of the Stone Age, it will be their biggest London show to date and they will be playing tracks from their recent No.1 record Villians. The band are a relentless machine who have conquered the globe with their powerful scuzzy rock.
They have released seven studio albums, sold out the largest venues all around the world and have been nominated for a Grammy. All of this comes as little surprise from a band who have secured their reputation through their hard work ethic over the last twenty years of their career.
As for Iggy Pop who last played Finsbury Park twenty years ago he will be delivering a UK exclusive performance. It will be his first show in London since the Post Pop Depression tour sold out The Royal Albert Hall with Josh Homme and Dean Fertita in May 2016. The set will be a sprawling showcase of 17 studio albums worth of material. The Godfather of Punk is back on British soil.
Genre crossing hip-hop duo Run The Jewels will also play. El-P and Killer Mike have been wowing crowds with a heavy and dynamic live show as well as receiving critical acclaim for their self-released Run The Jewels 3. Not to be missed.
And lastly rock and roll heroes The Hives will play the booking. The group have sold millions of records and won many awards along the way. This eclectic selection of bands will be a day to remember. And there are even more acts to be announced before the summer show comes around. Make sure to buy your tickets before it’s too late.
They go on sale at 9am Friday, 1 December
