After a successful TRNSMT in 2017, the festival returns for its second edition in 2018 but this time is for a two weekend event. It runs on 29 June – 1 July plus 6 and 8 July 2018 with day and weekend tickets sold. The above names all play on 30 June.

The Courteeners always get the party going with hits such as 'Nineteen', which are pefect for jumping up and down in harmony with tens of thousands of equally inebriated strangers. Their show at the re-opening of the Manchester Arena helped their reputation massively as many declared they'd never seen a pit floor shake like that before.
Warming the stage up for Liam Fray and co. are Wolf Alice - arguably the UK indie's biggest success story this decade. They continue to play their set that draws on their first two albums with their second album material usurping their early singles, and showing they're far from a flash in the pan hype band.
Meanwhile, J-Hus is the Mercury, MOBO and GRM Daily nominated singer, who's ill-confined to genre and meanders between UK Afrobeats and patois-infused Drill, to name a couple. His album, Common Sense, is making its way into many tastemakers end of year lists.
All in all it makes for an exciting line-up and there are many, many more acts to be announced for this powerhouse of a festival.
Said Geoff Ellis, Head of DF Concerts: “We’re absolutely thrilled to announce TRNSMT 2018’s line-up – all four bands are testament to the brilliant British music scene right now and will offer an amazing day of music for TRNSMT fans on 30th June.
“It’s set to be a brilliant summer of music. We’re bringing some of the best world-class artists to Glasgow Green, with many more exciting announcements still to come. TRNSMT’s outstanding audience in July this year showed the world why TRNSMT should be central to the festival music calendar. Much like in 2017, TRNSMT will showcase some of the best up and coming talent in the UK, mixed with world-class artists so stay tuned as there’s so much more to come!”
Meanwhile, fans have taken to Twitter to express their joy of aving Liam Gallagher come to Glasgow:
