Buy Tickets To The Cure 2019

It’s time to get your goth on – The Cure have announced that they’re to headline the EXIT Festival in Serbia next year. The iconic band has been confirmed to bring the festival’s opening day to a spectacular close of 4 July.

As ever, the EXIT Festival will take place at the 18th century Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, from 4 to 7 July 2019 and you can expect its usual massive and diverse line-up when the full bill is announced in due course.

The acclaimed Serbian festival boasts 40+ stages and zones in moats, trenches and even tunnels, and has been previously headlined by likes of The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Guns'N'Roses, Sex Pistols, Grace Jones, David Guetta, Migos, Snoop Dogg, Arcade Fire, Fever Ray, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz and Paul Kalkbrenner, to name but a few.

The Cure recently celebrated their 40th anniversary with a massive gig in London’s Hyde Park earlier this year. Gigwise was there and declared, “The Cure’s performance this evening is nothing short of sensational. A masterclass executed with the panache and grace of a band still at the top of their game.”

They also played the Royal Festival Hall as part of frontman Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival where they played a track from each of their albums in chronological order and then back again.

General ticket sales for EXIT starts on 23 October via the EXIT Festival website. Four-day tickets will be available for 99 EUR +b/f and daily tickets for the first day of the festival when The Cure is performing (4 July) will be available at 29 EUR +b/f for general entrance, 39 EUR +b/f for the fan pit and 100 EUR +b/f for GOLD VIP.
