Mini Mansions have solidified their return with new track ‘GummyBear’. The smooth track dips it’s toe in the realms of disco while still, ultimately, being harnessed by the snaking basslines and grooving guitars we’ve come to know and love from the LA three-piece.

Speaking about the track, vocalist Michael Shuman says, “Although ‘GummyBear’ is rather fun and comical, the sentiment and story behind it are quite the opposite. At that time I really wanted to make an all disco record, but I guess this is as close as Mini Mansions gets to being part of the Gibbs family.” Tune in below:

The new song comes as part of the announcement for the trio’s latest record, Guy Walks Into A Bar. Impacting in July, and featuring a collaboration with The Kills' singer Alison Mosshart, Shuman details the title, “It started off as a joke because it is a joke. It’s a way to start off the story of a relationship that ends up getting much deeper.”

The track listing for the record is as follows;

  1. Should Be Dancing
  2. Bad Things (That Make You Feel Good)
  3. Don’t Even Know You
  4. Forgot Your Name
  5. I’m In Love
  6. Time Machine
  7. Works Every Time
  8. Living In The Future
  9. GummyBear
  10. Hey Lover (feat. Alison Mosshart)
  11. Tears In Her Eyes
