More about:

The Streets have shared 'How Long's It Been?, their first track of 2019. It sees Mike Skinner trading bars with rising south London MC and 'Hell Bent' hitmaker Flohio.

The track, which was recorded live straight to vinyl at Abbey Road Studios, is part of a collaborative Streets mixtape coming out later this year and comes off the back of a massive Streets Glastonbury festival performance. The track follows the 2018 single 'Call Me In The Morning' featuring Chip and Grim Sickers.

Both lyricists are their a-game and it's their natural flow that takes precedence in the mix alongside a repetitive keyboard motif and subtle percussion textures.

Accompanying the audio, which was engineered by John Barrett and assisted by Dan Hayden, is a visual of them performing together in the hallowed West End studio, and you can check that out above.

Speaking of working with Flohio, Skinner said: "Flohio's energy is insane. She adds colour to a quite serious trap energy and makes something just as unpredictable and homespun as anyone from Atlanta. She has the juice on stage.”

And for those of you wanting to see The Streets live, there are no confirmed dates but we'll keep you up to date as soon as we hear of something.
