More about: Love Fame Tragedy
“You’re destructive, I need insurance for you” echoes Murph Murphy, the brainchild behind Love Fame Tragedy on new cut ‘Hardcore’. It’s the second slice from the second EP, titled Five Songs To Briefly Fill The Void, out in February next year, and also sees the return of Maddi Waterhouse joining the singer on vocals.
Suited and booted, situated amongst a sultry gig set-up with a suave bassline introducing the track, the visuals are as atmospheric as the song itself, with lingering riffs and earworm melodies aplenty. Watch the slick video first here:
The solo project from the lead singer and guitarist from The Wombats has seen a plethora of collaborators join the Love Fame Tragedy journey: the eclectic list of names include Joey Santaiago (Pixies), Gus Unger-Hamilton (alt-J), Eleanor Fletcher (Crystal Fighters), Lauren Aquilina, the aforementioned Maddi Waterhouse and Dan Smith (Bastille).
