More about:

To celebrate the imminent release of their fourth album POWER, Twin Atlantic have launched their new one 'Barcelona' - and it's another pop song that shows the trio's versatility off magnificently.

Another synth pop swerve for the Scottish rock band, the new cut is a bright electronic move even further from their roots. Still with the bolshy vocals of frontman Sam McTrusty, the musical thrust of the song is absolutely, definitely pop.

Hear it:

On the latest single, McTrusty said: "This is a love song about being in a film loop...it's romantic and cinematic. It makes fun of love but also puts it up high on a pedestal".

It arrives with a new video of the band performing in a neon red lit studio with the haze of dry ice romanticising the whole scene.

The track listing for POWER is as follows:

  1. Oh! Euphoria!
  2. Barcelona
  3. Novocaine
  4. Mount Bungo (Interlude)
  5. I Feel It Too
  6. Ultraviolet Truth
  7. Asynchronous (Interlude)
  8. Volcano
  9. Messiah
  10. Praise Me
