'The last great Oasis tune?'

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have returned with ‘Come On Outside’, a new track to be included in the forthcoming Blue Moon Rising EP, released March 6.

The track itself is typical of NG, hosting drawn-out guitar build up, vocal harmonies and a glimmer in the eye of old Oasis B-sides. Can we hear a smidgen of Robbie Williams in there too? Either way, it's a great addition to the Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds roster: the release closest to what we think of as the band's brand for a while.

It follows the EP's title track, a song that's all about the "quietly industrial sounds and that propulsive dance riff".

Hear it and let us know what you think:

Noel describes the making of ‘Come On Outside’: “So I’m rummaging down the back of the couch and found this f*cker!! Maybe the last great Oasis tune? Maybe not.”

The Blue Moon Rising EP tracklist is:

1. Blue Moon Rising
2. Wandering Star
3. Come On Outside
4. Blue Moon Rising (The Reflex Revision)
5. Blue Moon Rising (7” Mix)
