Beachtape are back with a new single. 'Somewhere Better' is a laidback grunge cut with all the hallmarks of a classic summer tune. Though it's only March, the tones on this one are making us look forward to the Great Escape in Beachtape's hometown of Brighton.

Sunny indie, foot-shifting garage rock and the spectre of grunge meet on 'Somewhere Better', which announces a brand new EP entitled Bigger Picture. It's all sunny, addictive guitar riffs and slacker vocals on this one, the centre of any indie fan's summer playlist.
Hear the nostalgic, mooning vibes of the new cut:
On the song, the band said that “It’s about change....The idea of something feeling so significant in the moment, but becoming so insignificant over time and vice versa. Our lives in and outside of the band have changed a lot over the last year and we’re all in completely different places to what we may have imagined a year ago.”
Beachtape have shared stages with YOWL, Egyptian Blue and Roxy Girls, to name a few. They head to Austin for SXSW this March, and will also play Live At Leeds on 2 May.
Bigger Picture will arrive 10 April on what marbles?/CRC Records.
