More about:

Phoebe Bridgers has dropped another single from her anticipated second album Punisher. 'I See You' arrives with a sweet, neo-Gothic shadow puppet visual and news that a 'World Tour' will take place in May and June - set between Bridgers' kitchen, bathroom and bed.

'I See You' is somewhat of a return to the sad folk of Stranger In The Alps - though it retains some of the revving indie of comeback single 'Kyoto' with its quiet, advancing guitar metronome.

'I See You' - which will be called 'ICU' in its album edition - is a Bridgers special for lyrics. "I hate your mom" she sings with absolute nonchalance. "I don't know what I want until I fuck it up" she says, echoing the sad girl persona she has so carefully sculpted on Twitter. Listen below:

On 'I See You', Bridgers says: “It’s about my breakup with my drummer. We dated for a few years, made music every day, and were extremely codependent. We became like family to each other, so our breakup was extremely tough. But if this tells you anything about our relationship, we wrote this song together, just like everything else.”

The Phoebe Bridgers' World Tour will begin on 26 May with a livestream from Bridgers' own kitchen. See the other dates below.
