More about:

Bear's Den have announced a new project with composer/arranger Paul Frith. Fragments was unveiled today with a re-arranged version of 'Fuel On The Fire'. The album follows a sell-out string of shows focussing on the collaboration at the end of 2018.

The new 'Fuel On The Fire' reworking is a transcendent work with the melancholy vocals of Andrew Davie acting as the perfect foil to joyful orchestral strings and keys. As the mind behind arrangements on The xx and Radiohead, Frith's light touch is a gorgeous addition to Bear's Den's songwriting.

On the collaboration and project, Davie said: Fragments was an idea born out of our friendship and numerous collaborations with Paul Frith over the last 10 years...The idea for Fragments was the idea of both Kev and I letting go and entrusting Paul to break our songs into pieces and build them up anew"

Paul Frith said: "Its been a joy to explore the sonic richness of Bears Den; reworking their original songs to bring to light rhythms and melodies that have been hiding in the fabric of their music waiting to be found and loved."

Fragments arrives 18 September via Communion Records
