More about: beabadoobee
BRITs Rising Star nominee Beabadoobee has announced her debut album Fake It Flowers. The album, which currently has no release date, gets its grand announcement today with the wonderful new single 'Care'.
She wasn't even born in the 90's, but Beabadoobee has the undone cool of the era's soft rock down to a T on the new cut. A sepia amalgamation of Cheap Trick and Soccer Mommy, the song is laced with transcendant electric guitars.
Accompanying visuals? Bea has it nailed on very era-appropriate camera chaos, which sees her in various scenes of attitudinal soft focus:
'Care' is the first single from the 20 year-old artist since her BRITs Rising Star nomination.
On the track Bea notes: "This song has end of 90s movie vibes, like you're driving down a highway. It is pretty much me being angry at society, or people around me who I just don't think know me and don't care. I don't want you to feel fucking sorry for me. I just want you to understand what I've been through."
