The Staves are back for the first time in three years with the stunning 'Nazareth'. Self-produced by the trio of sisters, it's a gentle reintroduction to a bastion of British indie folk.

A sparse acoustic accompaniment and little else but the delicate harmonies of Jessica, Camilla and Emily Staveley-Taylor guide 'Nazareth' through four minutes of ear honey. It's a personal track that confronts transcience and truth:
The track was actually recorded in 2018: "The sun was shining and the birds were singing. We tried recording it in the studio but just kept coming back to this version. It seemed to have the magic" the band said.
Though it's three years since we've had any new music from the sisters, it's five since the latest album If I Was. Jessica contributed vocals to the posthumous Leonard Cohen record Thanks For The Dance, and all three sang on Paul Weller's recent hit album On Sunset.
