Marika Hackman has announced a covers album with a version of Grimes' 'Realiti'. She'll also play a live stream with her band to celebrate the album's arrival in November.

Grimes gets the ethereal folk treatment with Hackman's contemplative, beautiful version of 'Realiti', bringing elements of We Slept At Last (pensiveness), I'm Not Your Man (sonic playfulness) and Any Human Friend (a newfound increased confidence in her own voice) to the track.

Other covers to expect on Covers are Beyoncé's 'All Night' and 'Pink Light' by Muna. Radiohead and Elliot Smith will also get the Hackman treatment.

“When it comes to covers, I like to pick songs which I have been listening to obsessively for a while. It gives me a natural understanding of the music, and lets me be more innovative with how I transform it" Hackman said.
