Thirty years of Heavenly Recording is to be celebrated in a book this November. “…Believe In Magic. Heavenly Recordings, The First Thirty Years” by Robin Turner. A fully illustrated history, the book will delve into some of the label's almost 200 releases.

Founded in 1990 by Jeff Barrett, Heavenly began its stream of iconic releases with a single from Andrew Weatherall. Since then, it has shared music by Manic Street Preachers, Confidence Man and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

The book will run through some of these, alongside anecdotes through the decades, and sections written by James Dean Bradfield, Doves, Don Letts and more.

The book is on pre-order sale from today as is, or you can purchase one of 1000 limited editions: 500 which fearure a 7 inch single by Saint Etienne and another featuring a 12 minute track by Working Men’s Club.
