Indie TikTok stars The Rills have dropped their brand new single 'Stardog'. Their second track of the year, it's another raucous gig firestarter.

Massive bass and drums are pedal to the metal on 'Stardog', guitar holding things up to indie expectations with its chugging rejoinder. Spoken and sung, the lyrics do what indie songs did in the golden age: represent the week/weekend existence of everyday people.

"The Stardog is an amalgamation of the small town dealers that I knew growing up in Lincoln" frontman Mitch Spencer said. “He’s very much a big fish in a small pond and that can really get into people’s heads,
regardless of what they do."

The single follows July's release of 'The Angler', which we called "the kind of thing millennialls will remember fondly from their adolescence, and today's teenagers are likely to lap up."
