L.A.'s Cherry Glazerr continue to tease new music today: fruits of writing sessions which will make up a soon-to-be-recorded fifth album. 'Big Bang' further strays from CG songs of old, playing with electronics - and it's all very exciting.

Clementine Creevy was listening to Kaytranada, Caribou and other electronic alchemists during the conception of the new run of tracks, which began in December with 'Rabbit Hole'.

Her experimentaion is even stronger on 'Big Bang', which begins as if a classic rock ballad before exploding into a galaxy of bassy synths.

“I wanted to give it a sort of early ‘aughts pop production feel, with the interplay between the acoustic guitar figure and the bass synth and the 808 hits during the choruses" Creevy said, "I feel like I was able to let a lot out with this song."

An album will be recorded soon.
