More about:

The Coral have just released the second single from their upcoming album, following on from lead single ‘Faceless Angel’. Their tenth album Coral Island will be released 30 April via Run On Records, and looks like this themed double album will be their most ambitious project yet. New single ‘Lover Undiscovered’ reminds you of sunnier days as we finally get out of a long winter.

The bright guitars are perfect for the upcoming fairground-inspired concept album. The repeated melodies and vocal harmonies will have you nostalgic for summers gone by.

Lead singer James Skelly spoke about the concept and recording process:

“To me, ‘Lover Undiscovered’, is about when you notice or feel something you take for granted, as simple as the sea or a bird flying, and it’s like discovering that feeling all over again. We wanted the recording to sound like The Velvet Underground playing a Motown song in Rhyl Sun Centre.”

Coral Island is the five piece's first double album and was recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. It will drop on on April 30.
