Emma-Jean Thackray has announced her third album Yellow this morning with the luscious, disco-coloured single 'Say Something', which pleads: "Say something - don't just speak."

As ever, Thackray has made the art of jazz entirely her own. A world of guitar, clapping hands, tripping hi-hats and that beautiful voice, this is a stunning introduction to Yellow: 

On Yellow as a whole, Thackray said: “It’s a record about togetherness, the oneness of all things in the universe, showing love and kindness, human connection. I approached the record by trying to simulate a life-changing psychedelic experience, an hour where we see behind the curtain to a hidden dimension, where the physical realm melts away and we finally see that we are all one.”
