More about:

Oscar Lang is back today with another offering from his upcoming debut album Chew The Scenery, arriving 16 July on Dirty Hit. He has also just announced his 2021 headline UK tour, supported by Molly Payton.

‘Are You Happy?’ is a laid-back indie-pop dream about a friend going through a difficult time. It’s full of love and authentic compassion with tastes of psychedelic rock and funk throughout. Lang explains the message behind the new track:

“I wrote this tune about a mate that was having a really hard time and I wanted to let them know that I was there for them. I think it’s important to reach out to friends and family when they’re not doing great. It can be hard though, trying not to be too overbearing but I feel like this song is a great way of telling someone that you care about them.”

Ahead of the album release in July, Oscar Lang has also announced dates for his UK headline tour this October. This tour joins his festival appearances in the summer in his live plans for 2021, marking a triumphant return to live music alongside his debut album.
