Looks like Lana Del Rey has finally let Lorde play with the Jack Antonoff. Today, she announces that her much, much-anticipated third album is on its way. You can hear 'Solar Power' - the title track - now.

Many on social media have pointed out the similarity of this new track and the sunny rock of Primal Scream's Screamadelica, and though it's definitely there - the staccato guitar, the sunniness - Lorde's own brand of lyrical flair and vaguely Gothic style remains.

The accompanying video shows Lorde acting very much like the "prettier Jesus" she claims to be, leading groups of young people to her utopia on the beach. 

In a newsletter to fans, Lorde announced that Solar Power will be a “celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalising the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors.”
