When FEET moved in together in 2019, they found they gelled in a new way. Their connection was stronger, as was their desire to create, and with this, their next EP Walking Machine was created.

‘Library’ sees the band taking up a different sound: it’s less raucous, and more polished. The subject matter, however, remains true to FEET’s comedic form. If the title didn’t give it away, it’s about having a late fee at your local library, and the pain that that may cause. Told through tongue in cheek lyrics, woozy guitar patterns, and some joyous drums, ‘Library’ is a triumph.

On the track, frontman George has said:

“Library was the product of our 'slow ramones' period when writing in lockdown. “I achieved a relatively high reading level at primary school - impressed?? ..so I've felt the sting of a late book fee quite a few times. This is my ode to libraries everywhere, return your books”.
