Headie One has returned to the drill roots that his earliest following will remember fondly. Opening with audio from an interview with Bob Marley, Headie One goes on to explore the double-edged sword of money in modern society.
Following on from the critical success of Edna and a handful of prestigious nominations, Headie One is now returning to his musical roots to make a series of tracks for the fans who have been with him since the beginning.
‘Pound Signs’ shows off Headie One at his best, rightfully earning responses that he’s the best Drill artist out there. The music video is equally impressive, condensing a Reservoir Dogs-inspired action thriller into the 4-minute accompanying video. Check it out:
