Birmingham soul venue The Night Owl makes its debut in London this weekend (2 July) at its new home in Finsbury Park. The eatery/bar/nightclub/venue will provide a new home for all things soul, Motown, Reggae and ska and a lovely spot to enjoy Caribbean tapas - a good spot to try before heading to neighbour Rowan's.
For it's opening weekend, classic soul group The Flirtations will perform before popular club night Dig? takes place - with mod legend Eddie Piller as its special guest.
Done up with formica tables on the ceiling, a royal blue egg chair and a bar serving cocktails every night of the week, The Night Owl Finsbury Park will also serve Caribbean food. Folks, we've tasted it and it's not to be missed!
Upcoming events include themed brunches including Brit-Pop, Soul and Prince iterations, a live performance from PM Warson, pub quizzes and more. See what's coming up here and find The Night Owl at Station Place, N4, directly opposite Finsbury Park station.
