More about:

Cult favourites Spector have released another track from their long-awaited third album Now or Whenever, arriving 1 October via Moth Noise. ‘Bad Summer’ is the third single to be taken from the album, and the band will embark on a UK headline tour later this year.

‘Bad Summer’ is another fine example of Spector’s poetic indie rock, perfectly summed up by the band’s own description that it was “written in the august rain, on a summer’s day like this one. For when every night feels like a honeymoon and every morning feels like a funeral”. With clever technical flourishes throughout it has a melancholic edge that their loyal fanbase will adore.
