Brighton's HANYA have dropped their newest single today: the mellow 'Fortunes' announces a forthcoming EP that'll follow last year's Sea Shoes. You can catch them on tour over the next few months too.
'Fortunes' is a continuation of the band's shoegaze inspirations, finding chilled-out guitars that build to noodling greatness underneath the impressive voice of Heather Sheret.
On the EP's lead single, Sheret said: 'Fortunes' started almost as a joke as we teased the idea of writing a laidback Y2K banger. Naturally, the more we wrote, the more we loved it. We followed our musical nose until we felt we had tapped into something special".
