Wolverhampton local and Big in 2021 alum, Fitzroy Holt has shared the moving video for his debut single 'Kelly', a soulful ballad that pays tribute to the homeless community in his town.
Now the budding star gets his visual introduction (for those who haven't seen him live) with the video for 'Kelly', which matches the quiet, downtrodden beauty of the music with similarly bittersweet influences.
'Kelly' is based in truth: Fitzroy has experience working with female homeless people in Wolverhampton thanks to his volunteer efforts at charity Haven.
"I want to use my music to help people, not many people find themselves with platforms around them which allow them to spread awareness for important issues and causes they believe in" Fitzroy said. "I have also found the people who do, will often shy away from reaching out in fear of controversy. So, I saw 'Kelly' as a way to hopefully make a positive impact to people’s lives”.
Fitzroy Holt plays the Isle of Wight Festival this weekend.
