Wait... are the Minions genuinely about to drop the hottest album of the year? A week after the tracklist for Minions: The Rise Of Gru was reveals - the first track has been released in the form of a fever dream collab between THE Diana Ross and Tame Impala.

'Turn Up The Sunshine' does exactly what it says on the tin. Delivering a disco-dripped tune for the summer, a classic Tame Impala funky rhythm boosts it to even groovier levels. Entirely sun-soaked, the feel good track sits on a soundtrack of covers of and features from 60s and 70s icons. All produced by Jack Antonoff, we could be looking at the best album of the year coming courtesy of some yellow blobs.

Following on from Diana Ross' 2021 album Thank You, we're heading into a summer of disco thanks to the legend. Performing at Glastonbury for the first time as well as announcing a whole string of UK and EU dates and appearances, the singer is truly treating us.

'Turn Up The Sunshine' is out now via Decca Records
