We couldn’t be happier to have Brooke Bentham back. Hailing from South Shields, the singer-songwriter has previously dealt in the grim and the painful. Leaning into the most tender emotions with a keen knack for unique wording thats gained attention from Hometown peer Sam Fender, Lucy Dacus, The War On Drugs and more - it seems things might be looking up for her. Returning with ‘Over and Over’, it’s actually cheery!

Focussing in on the little things that bring us nothing but pure joy and simplistic happiness, it’s a refreshing one that would genuinely lighten any morning. Dabbling in escapism while keeping the music firmly rooted into indie folk tradition, it could genuinely be toying with instant classic status with such pure, relatable lyrics.

Talking about the track, Brooke said: “It was my way of asking myself if I could just write a song that I didn’t have to think too much about, but reflected where I was at”.  Inspired by roadtrips, camping and all those wholesome friend activities - she’s hinted at an EP to come early next year that's set to be her lightest work to date.

But until then, ‘Over and Over’ is out now.
