But they don't sound like them...

Panic At The Disco say they are inspired by The Beatles, but find it difficult to swallow when music critics compare their new songs directly to the Fab Four.

The band are currently in the midst of a worldwide promotional tour ahead of the release of their new album ‘Pretty Odd’ on March 25. Speaking to xfm from the road, frontman Brendon Urie says he is baffled by some of The Beatles comparisons.

He said: "You don't know if they're comparing you in a good way to The Beatles, or if they are trying to accuse you of ripping off something.

"They are an inspiration to all of us in the band, but not in the way of a melody which we'd wanna steal, but more in the way of being inspired to do something creative."

‘Pretty Odd’ is the follow-up to 2005’s ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.’
