Sir Paul McCartney leads the line-up for the opening show of the new series of Later...With Jools Holland.
Metallica, Kings of Leon and Carla Bruni, the wife of French president Nicholas Sarkozy, will also appear on the programme next month.
Sir Paul McCartney is on the show to premiere his side project with producer Youth, The Fireman.
The venture has been described by a source as “Arcade Fire meets Led Zeppelin”.
