Prince Harry is to appear at the BRIT Awards later this month, organisers have announced.
The young Royal has pre-recorded a congratulatory message in which he is expected to acknowledge the event's impact on British society.
“The BRITs is a celebration of all that is totally outstanding and unique about British music,” Prince Harry said.
“And what’s less well known about the BRITs is the fantastic work it does raising millions of pounds for the BRIT Trust which has benefited thousands of young people to develop their talents and generally enrich our society.”
The 30th anniversary of the BRIT Awards is due to take place at London's Earls Court on February 16.
Live performances will come from artists including Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Robbie Williams, who is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement award.
