Muse and Kasabian were the big winners at the NME Awards in London last night picking up two gongs each.
Kasabian were named best album for 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' and took home a second award for its artwork.
Muse were crowned as the best British band Best Website, although singer Matt Bellamy expressed his disappointment at losing out in the worst dressed category to Lady GaGa.
Bizarrely, GaGa was also named the best dressed artist at the Brixton Academy bash.
Other winners of note were Paramore who scooped best international band, Rage Against The Machine who were named heroes of the year for their Christmas chart conquering and Glastonbury who won best festival.
NME editor Krissi Murison said that over 3.6million people voted for this year's awards.
