Weezer bassist Scott Shriner has revealed that they are working on new material.
Shriner said each band member was involved in the sessions, but refused to divulge any more details.
"We're always planning and scheming something," he told Billboard.
"We're always working on some new music. I can't really go into any detail about that yet, but we're all writing and working on new stuff."
Meanwhile, Weezer, whose record contract with Geffen has expired, are planning to re-issue their 1996 second album ‘Pinkerton’.
Shriner added that the band’s frontman Rivers Cuomo was also assembling ”a ton of B-sides from a big period of time” for a rarities collection.
Both projects are expected to be released later this year.
