Arcade Fire Play New York's Madison Square Garden

August 4 2010 – Arcade Fire thrilled fans as they played the first of two gigs at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Montreal-based band, fronted by Win Butler, played a host of songs from their new album 'The Suburbs', as well as tracks from their back-catalogue.

Arcade Fire's second show tonight (August 5) will be broadcast live on YouTube as part of a new concert series, and is expected to feature special guests.
