The Rolling Stones Score Number One On UK Album Chart

With 'Exile' re-issue...

The Rolling Stones have topped the UK album chart for a second time with ‘Exile On Main Street’.

The album, which has been re-issued with new material, last topped the countdown upon its original release in 1972.

It is the veteran rock band’s first number one since 1994’s ‘Voodoo Lounge’.

Dance act Faithless’s new album ‘The Dance’ came in at number two, while Plan B’s ‘The Defamation Of Strictland Banks’ is at number three.

LCD Soundsystem were a new entry at number seven with ‘This Is Happening’, according to the Official Charts Company.

In the singles chart, B.o.B went straight in at number one with ‘Nothin’ On You’.
