Dizzee Rascal is reportedly recording an England World Cup anthem with comedian James Corden.
Simon Cowell is apparently the man behind the collaboration which will see the Bonkers rapper and the rotund Gavin & Stacy star record a version of an as yet undisclosed 80's classic.
Yesterday, Dizzeee revealed that he's travelling to South Africa and had “something special in the pipeline.”
Now, a source tells The Sun: "Simon got in touch with Dizzee with the idea. He really admires how Dizzee has gone from hardcore rapper to chart-topping hit maker.
"To say Dizzee was surprised to hear from him is an understatement. But they really hit it off.
"Simon is supervising the project and suggested that Dizzee should share some vocals with James.
"They've taken a huge hit from the 80s and brought it bang up to date. It's bound to be huge."
