Lady Gaga showed exerts from the video for her new single ‘Alejandro’ during an appearance on Larry King Live on Tuesday (June 1).

The singer said the video had a "homoerotic military theme" and that it would premiere in full soon.

"It is a celebration of my love and appreciation for the gay community, my admiration of their bravery, their love for one another and their courage in their relationships,” she said.

Clips from the video, directed by fashion photographer Steven Klein, showed a man cradling Lady Gaga.

As previously reported on Gigwise, the singer also spoke to King about her family’s history of suffering from the genetic disease lupus.

Lady Gaga also revealed that she had been asked to open for Michael Jackson at his ill-fated comeback gigs in London last year.
