Tom Cruise Praises Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am

Tom Cruise has praised Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am after he wrote a song for the actor’s new film.

The actor asked the rapper to contribute for Knight and Day when they met at a charity event.

Will.I.Am then penned the song ‘Someday’ in front of Cruise after being shown an advance preview of the thriller.

"He wrote the song on his BlackBerry," Cruise told MTV. "Right in the room."

The actor added: "It was very cool [and] totally organic to the film. I think it's an incredible song."

Cruise joined the Black Eyed Peas onstage at their gig in London last week.

Knight and Day also stars Cameron Diaz, and is due to be released this summer.
