Gorillaz, Muse and Stevie Wonder will top the bill at this year's event, which is expected to remain dry.
To mark Glastonbury's 40th anniversary, Gigwise has taken a look at the event's history – from the first £1 festival to the magical attraction it has become.
Gigwise will be coming live from the festival all weekend, so keep checking www.gigwise.com for the latest news, photos and interviews.
