Fanfarlo have admitted they felt nervous about going up against Florence & The Machine at Glastonbury on Friday (June 26).
The London-based group’s set at Queen’s Head last night also clashed with Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons and The Big Pink.
Speaking to Gigwise, Fanfarlo’s Leon Beckenham said they were initially unsure about their billing, but that the set went down well.
“When I first looked at the line up I saw we were up against Mumford & Sons, Florence & The Machine, Vampire Weekend and The Big Pink, so I thought we were not going to get anyone along.
"But it turned out alright in the end.”
Band mate Amos Memon added that it was good to see sold old and new faces in the crowd.
“I saw a few familiar faced but it was nice to see loads of people in the audience that we'd never seen before,” he added.
