Kings Of Leon Fans Hail Hyde Park Show As 'Best Gig Ever'

Kings Of Leon fans have praised the band following their performance at London's Hyde Park last night (June 30).

The US band played a career-spanning set, including four new songs, for the sell-out 65,000-strong crowd.

Fans have been contacting Gigwise via Twitter all morning with their feedback, which has been mainly positive.

User @jenpomphrey said: “Was possibly one of the best gigs I have ever been too. Good weather, good tunes, good company, great location.”

@clairechapman30 said she enjoyed Kings Of Leon's new material, but added: “Crowd could have been better.”

@KathyJon praised he band's support acts The Drums, The Black Keys, The Features and The Whings.

She added: “Had to be a fan to appreciate the Kings. Thank god they played a lot of oldies!”

@canchristian said: “They were amazing & the new music was brilliant.”

The Hyde Park gig marked Kings Of Leon's biggest headline date of their career.

"This is shocking - can't believe you guys came out," a clearly emotional Followill said at one point.
