Second Woman Raped At Latitude Festival 2010

A second woman has alleged that she has been raped at this weekend’s Latitude festival in Suffolk.

The 17-year-old girl claims the attack took place in a tent on the campsite on Friday night (July 16).

A 19-year-old man from Essex has been arrested and is due to be questioned later, reports BBC News.

On Friday, another woman alleged that she had been raped at around 10pm on Thursday night (July 15).

She had left her tent to look for a toilet when she asked a group of three or four men for directions.

They then reportedly said they would show her the way before at least one man raped her.

Florence & The Machine, Belle & Sebastian and Vampire Weekend are due to headline this weekend’s event.
