Lady Gaga made an impromptu appearance at a saloon bar in Texas on Saturday (July 24).

The US singer thrilled locals at The Round-Up Saloon in Dallas, which was the scene of one of her earliest performances.

Although she didn't sing, Lady Gaga led drinkers in an energetic sing-along to her hits 'Just Dance' and 'Alejandro'.

She was accompanied to the bar by an entourage of 15 people, which included her mother, according to a report on US webshite The Count.

The singer was also spotted ordering drinks at the bar for her guests.

Owners Alan Pierce and Gary Miller apparently had "no idea" about the visit before the star arrived.

Lady Gaga first visited The Round-Up Saloon in 2008 as a relative unknown to perform two songs.

She was in Texas at the weekend to perform as part of her Monster Ball US tour, which continues tomorrow in Colorado.
