Klaxons bassist and singer Jamie Reynolds has revealed that the band have begun performing sober.
Reynolds said they decided to adopt the new approach after working with producer Ross Robinson on their second album 'Surfing The Void'.
In an exclusive interview with Gigwise, he claimed the decision had made them a “stronger” live outfit.
“We’re actually figured out that we can play these songs and we’re going on stage sober and playing them to their best, playing into the songs, where as before we were just a train wreck,” Reynolds said.
Asked if the band's decision to perform sober had been a concious one, Reynolds replied: “No it just came from working with Ross really.
“I mean that was our approach to making the record, and it’s just continued into the performing the record and it’s making all the old ones sound better and the new ones sounding great.
“It’s exciting for us at this point in time.”
