Katy Perry Adopts Hooker Alias When Travelling

Katy Perry has admitted that she uses the name of a former heroin addict prostitute when checking into hotels whilst on tour.

Perry says she has used the name Jerri Blank for the past two years.

She is quoted in The Sun as saying, "I'll give you my alias because I've been using this one for two years. Cr*p! I'm going to have to come up with a good one now to replace it! It's Jerri Blank from Strangers With Candy. She's hilarious, stupid. Maybe I'll follow her lead and end up back in school some time."

Jerri Blank was famously played by Amy Sedaris in the US TV show Strangers With Candy.
