Lady Gaga New Album Is 'Shocking'

Lady Gaga's new album will be “shocking, shocking shocking”, according to its producer.

RedOne, who is behind some of the star's biggest hits, said the new material would be a pleasant surprise for fans.

“You never want to go too far from your brand - people love you for a reason,” he told Billboard.

“But we still want to give them something with a kick, something that makes them say, 'Oh my God! We didn't expect this!'”

Lady Gaga said recently that she had already recorded most of the follow-up to her debut album 'The Fame' and mini album 'The Fame Monster'.

The album is due to be released early in 2011. The singer is currently on her Monster Ball tour.
